Blacksmith Fork Freedom Run 15K

Location:

The Blacksmith Fork Freedom 15K Run starts up Blacksmith Fork Canyon just east of Hyrum, Utah. This beautiful, downhill 9.3 mile race is a great way to earn your potato salad! Race begins at 7 am at the Hyrum Hydropark up Blacksmith Fork Canyon. No buses are provided – you must provide your own way to the starting line (we suggest carpooling with other runners). Packet pickup and race-day registration begin at 6 am at the starting line. Aid stations at miles 4 & 7 will have water and Gatorade. Race ends at the Hyrum City Park (Center St. and Main), with fruit and Great Harvest Bread for all runners. To avoid delaying the start of the race, we encourage all runners to preregister! How to Register:

Here's how to pre-register.

1- You can register at Al's Sporting Goods in Logan (1617 N Main) in Logan until 7:00 July 1st.

2- You can also register by printing out this form and mail it to: Sun 'n Snow Runners, PO Box 125, Smithfield, UT 84335. Make check payable to Cache Sun 'n' Snow.

3- Online registration. Click on the link below if you would like to register online. We use a company, Run Wizard, to help us with online registration. They charge a fee. You will be notified via email after you register.

Other Information:
- Port-a-Potties will be available at the start and finish.

- Packet pickup and race day registration will begin at 6:00am at the starting line.

- No non-registered runners are allowed on the course.

- T-Shirts may not be available for race day registration.

- Chip timing will be provided.

- There are NO buses provided to the starting line. You must get your self to the starting line and then after the race back to the starting line for your vehicle.

- The starting line is at the Power Plant up Blacksmith Fork Canyon east of Hyrum City.

- The finish line will be at the Hyrum City Park, located at Center St. and Main.

- Aid stations will be provided at mile 4 & 7. Water and Gatorade will be provided.

- 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies for overall males and females.

- Ribbons for first three finishers in these age groups: 12 and u under, 13-15, 16-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over.

Runners Receive: T-shirt, and refreshments.
